Our quality C-Frame Press offers an open and flexible working area and can easily handle a variety of materials, sizes and shapes for even the toughest metal-forming and assembly applications.

With high cylinder accuracy and great versatility, the press guarantees constant performance on a wide range of industries, materials and applications such as bending, punching, forming, straightening, cutting and assembling.
The modular STENHOJ C-Frame Production Press is designed with two optional guiding systems and two optional programmable control systems.

Control System

The user friendly control system is built to meet latest European safety regulations.
In accordance with the safety regulations, the hydraulic system has dual monitored safety valves, monitored by a safety PLC.

The various press functions of the press are set directly on the control cabinet and displayed on the HMI touch panel.

Operator Panel 1, 2, 3 axes or more

Based on a Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC and a 9-, 12- or 15-inch touch panel.
The control consists of a freely programmable interface with up to 54 program lines to build a press program. The user can use the program lines to control the axes of the press and 8 I/O's, dependent or independent of each other in a desired sequence.

The following features can be selected in each program line directly on the operator panel.

Signal exchange between individual axes and I/O
Position control, speed control and pressure setting.
Progressive or degressive pressure or speed regulation within a given press process.
Dwell time in bottom ram position (timer function)
Decompression time at ram return start (timer function)
Stroke- and working hour counter
Memory for 1 up to 500 programs.

Light Guard
Using a light guard during insertion work allows safe operation without having to activate the normal operating push buttons. This works in a single or double break operation.
Additional protection function against unauthorised access.

Hydraulic Power Pack

The hydraulic power pack is located at the rear of the press and is easily accessible and service friendly.

All our pump systems are designed to fit each press size to achieve low energy consumption and avoid excessive heat in the hydraulic system.

Our power packs are equipped with a hydraulic pump for each cylinder axis. This ensures that the Main axis, Die cushion and Ejector can work independently at the same time.
To reduce unnecessary heat and energy consumption we operate with axial pumps which match the flow to the desired speed and are designed to avoid overload of the motor and clutch system by reducing the flow automatically when the press force increases and approaches max power.

The pumps are submerged directly into the oil tank, which provides low noise.

The valve system on the hydraulic tank is made up of compact block units protected against overload, placed on the hydraulic tank and designed as a hydraulic safety system in compliance with European safety requirements.

Electric motors are minimum IE3 premium efficiency rated.

• designed in a strong solid steel block
• equipped with T-slots for tool clamping
• machined according to DIN 650.
• guided by 2 pcs. hard chromed steel columns and 2 pcs. bronze bushings.

4 Column Guided Ram Plate (PP4)

The ram plate is:

designed in a strong solid steel block
equipped with T-slots for tool clamping
machined according to DIN 650
guided by 4 hard chromed steel columns, and 4 bronze bushings

Allowable off-centre load of 3% of max. press force.
